In Focus this week is our Meat Processing Customer Ashgrove Meats.
Meat Exporter Ashgrove Meats have implemented the NOUVEM Meat Processing Software Solution into their Abattoir and Cutting Plant which is based just outside Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. Their meat processing facility has been expanding and developing since 1980. Ashgrove Meats processes Beef and Lamb procured from the southwest of Ireland for the Irish and the international market.

Ashgrove Meats is a family run company with four generations of knowledge and experience in the meat industry committed to delivering premium produce.
We all know creating a premium product starts with procurement. Ashgrove Meats has built a relationship with up to 1000 farmers allowing them to source fully tracable quality livestock. They are committed to delivering premium produce.
The Department of Agriculture, (IE 609 EU) approved and certified plant has a high standard for food safety and quality, their Quality Control team apply HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Process Control, Traceability oversight, Final product testing, internal auditing and training.
NOUVEM delivered a full factory management system to Ashgrove, to manage their Lairage, Sequencer and Grading. Giving them also a full Payments system and compliance with Exporting all the relevant Information to the Department of Agriculture. NOUVEM gives them the automation of all their daily business processes, integration with the relevant Departments and full reporting capabilities on every element of their process. So giving them complete control over Production and now with yield analysis.
Some specific features were designed and configured specifically for Ashgrove, as we do for the majority of our customers.
At Ashgrove the key transformation factor was the removal of manual processes and the associated manual paperwork and the reporting capabilities which came with the digitisation of the business. Overall making life much easier for them!
