Established in 1988, The Good Fish Company now employ over a hundred staff and are one of Ireland’s largest fish processors , supplying to wholesale and retail customers such as TESCO and Dunne’s Stores.

The Good Fish Company chose the NOUVEM ERP system to increase efficiency, transparency and productivity and to have a digital quality management software system.

The NOUVEM software solution is now managing purchase & sale order processing, production yields\costings, stock level control, custom palletization features and generation of purchase\sales invoices as well as case end labelling and supplier specific datafiles.  They also have digitized their data capture, data recording and stock management.  NOUVEM is running on a mix of old and new hardware, linking to different weighing scales, utilizing scanning and printing to multiple different printer models.

NOUVEM provides for 3rd party integrations such as to the existing Sage accounts package and third party EDI providers.

Asba Foods has been approved for Beef and Lamb processing, with NOUVEM software fully integrated with the Irish Department of Agricultures AIMS system. (Animal Identification and Movement System) 

Asba become only the second processor in Ireland to implement the new AIMS Lamb Processing process, further strengthening the traceability chain for Lamb. 

Asba also run NOUVEM Food Processing Software at the main site in Shannon and with both sites integrated, the NOUVEM system facilitates centralized administration as well as site to site transfers across both sites.

Woolley Brothers Ltd now operate a fully Integrated NOUVEM MES system, door-to-door, at their main site in Sheffield UK.

Slaughtering in excess of 1300 cattle per week, Woolleys have already seen the benefits of the NOUVEM abattoir solution which has automated many previously manual back office tasks.  With a proud history of paying farmers promptly, the new system helps Woolleys to keep their promises giving office staff live visibility into the kill at all the stages including scanning of passports, sequencing of animals and grading of animals.  The payment staff can easily and simply tell exactly at what point every animal is at in the process, allowing prompt and accurate payment using the NOUVEM Kill Payment modules.

Santa came early this year for Kildare Farm Foods, just in time for the December change in Labelling Regulations. Its only the very brave would Implement a new system in December and that is exactly what Kildare Farm Foods did, and successfully! 

 

Comprehensive Label Design

 

The particular area of interest to Kildare Farm Foods was the comprehensive label design functionality available within NOUVEM.  The easy to use WYSIWYG label designer allowed KFF to design all their own labels, complete with customer specific barcodes.
