Ballon Meats, based in Carlow, Ireland have recently completed a phase 1 implementation of NOUVEM which involved Sales, Dispatch, Invoicing, Stock Control, Traceability, Yield, Production Weighing, labelling and Scanning.

Processing Beef, Lamb and Pigs, Ballon Meats is a very busy processing plant, eager to take advantage of the efficiency gains made possible by NOUVEM.

Ballon were keen to implement the system on existing hardware weighing scales, computers, servers and printers.  

NOUVEM’s open system was able to utilize all existing hardware, greatly reducing the investment required.  

Work has already begun on phase 2 which will see NOUVEM rolled out to the slaughtering side of the business.

Dunleavey Meats, the Ballina based processor of Beef & Lamb has just finished the implementation of a state-of-the-art meat processing software system.  

Looking to grow the business, John and Brian Dunleavy, Directors of Dunleavy Meats selected NOUVEM for a number of specific reasons;

 NOUVEM was installed onto existing computers in the factory and the office and although some new label printers were required, NOUVEM also uses existing label printers where possible.  With the sales, invoicing, ERP Integration, production, boning and dispatch now complete, NOUVEM have started work on phase 2 which will see the NOUVEM software rolled out to the abattoir side of the business.

Woolley Brothers (Wholesale Meats) in Sheffield have successfully implemented the NOUVEM boning hall and sales system.

Killing in excess of 1000 cattle per week, Woolley Brothers Ltd, Sheffield needed a system to meet the changing demands of a very modern meat processor.  

NOUVEM is now installed on 20+ stations, streamlining processes across sales, dispatch, accounts and production.

Comprehensive Label Design

The particular area of interest to Kildare Farm Foods was the comprehensive label design functionality available within NOUVEM.  The easy to use WYSIWYG label designer allowed KFF to design all their own labels, complete with customer specific barcodes.
